Description: A high-density coverage of the Sphaeroforma arctica genome sequence is expected.The sequencing of the S. arctica genome is part of an international effort dedicated to study genome evolution and whose goal is to determine the genes responsible for the origins of multicellular organisms. The genome of this organism will be sequenced at the Broad Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Tecnology and Harvard.
