Description: We sequence mRNA from Ailsa Craig tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) fruit tissues, taken in 6 stages during fruit development (10 days after anthesis, 20 days after antheis, mature green, breaker, breaker+5 days, breaker+10 days). The fruit were cut into 5 equal sections along the longitudinal axis of the fruit and the intervening two sections discarded to minimize developmental and gene expression overlap. Three remaning sections: top, middle, bottom were sequenced.
