Description: Stenotrophomonas sp. SKA14.This strain was collected from the Baltic Sea near Skagerrak (57.57N, 10.44E) at a depth of 4 m, and was isolated on a Zobell agar plate. This genomic study is being conducted in an effort to understand the nitrogen cycle of the Baltic Sea through the genomic information of its biogeochemically active bacterioplankton.
