Description: The flower abscission zone and leaf abscission zone tisssues were used for the RNA-Seq experiment involving time lapse study for gene expression. For the flower abscission samples the abscission zones were collected at 0, 2, 4, 8,14h after flower removal. For the leaf abscission zone samples the abscission zones were collected at 0, 24, 48, 72, 96h after leaf debladding preceeded with 10ppm of ethylene for 24h. the abscission samples of 1mm were collected, which includes 0.5 mm from both sides of Abscission zone. RNA was isolated individually from each sample collected at different time intervals and pooled together as one treated sample for RNA-Seq. Two RNA-Seq were run seperately for flower abscission and leaf abscission zones.
