Project name: Oxytricha trifallax
Description: Oxytricha trifallax performs complex genome rearrangements during its sexual cycle. Part of the mechanism of these rearrangements involves cytosine methylation and hydroxymethylation of specific DNA sequences. These data were generated by immunoprecipitation of genomic DNA with anti-methylcytosine or anti-hydroxymethylcytosine antibodies followed by sequencing on a HiSeq2000. A vegetative mix of two mating types, JRB310 and JRB510, was used as a control (the DNA modifications are added only during conjugation). The 46hr sample is from a conjugating population, also a mix of JRB310 and JRB510.
