Project name: Vipera berus berus isolate:VBER.BE-female

Description: Whole genome sequencing, genome assembly and analysis of the Vipera berus berus. This is a project in collaboration with Thomas Madsen of University of Wollongong, to understand the biology of the European Adder. In particular, we are interested in understanding the immunogenetics, population and conservation of the species. Wide variation in the numbers of adders in the study populations and the resulting impact on the population genetic diversity is the primary focus of this study. The population has been studied for 30 years.
