Project name: Hordeum vulgare

Description: As the first step to map QTL for a number of traits, a genetic map was developed. The mapping population is 187 F8 recombinant inbred plants from 'Tadmor' x 'Er/Apm'. The plants were genotyped with RFLP, SSR, AFLP, RAPD markers and QTLs for water status, water-soluble carbohydrate and osmotic adjustment were placed.
