Project name: Hordeum vulgare

Description: A mapping population of 135 F2 individuals/F3 families was developed from the cross Hordeum vulgare cv. 'VADA' x Hordeum spontaneum '1B-87'. This population was used to generate a RFLP linkage map as the first step to map the resistance gene exhibiting resistance to all European isolates of powdery mildew.
