Project name: Solanum lycopersicum

Description: Previous linkage maps have been developed with markers that exhibit little polymorphism among parents of commercial germplasm. This project is an effort to develop markers exhibiting polymorphism among commercial germplasm and to place these in a linkage map. The mapping population is an F2 derived from Solanum lycopersicum x Solanum pennellii that had used to develop previous linkage maps. The developed SSR markers were integrated into the previous map.
