Description: The first linkage map in tomato developed principally by DNA molecular markers. The mapping population is a BC1 of the Solanum lycopersicum x Solanum pennelli interspecific cross with S. pennelli as the recurrent parent and a F2 population, each with 46 plants. These plants were genotyped with RFLP and isozyme markers.
