Project name: Solanum lycopersicum

Description: In order to map the introgression fragments from Solanum pennellii arising from an interspecific cross a genetic map was constructed from a BC1 mapping population of 119 individuals. The initial cross was L. esculentum x L. pennellii with L. esculentum the recurrent parent. The individuals were genotyped with isozyme markers and RFLP markers.
