Project name: Glycine max

Description: This is a composite map that integrates the loci that had been mapped in five mapping populations. These are the USDA/Iowa State University population, the University of Utah 'Minsoy' x 'Noir 1' RIL population, the University of Nebraska NIL population, the University of Utah 'Minsoy' x 'Archer' RIL population and the Univeristy of Utah 'Archer' x 'Noir 1' RIL population . The USDA/Iowa State University population is an F2 population of 59 derived from the interspecific cross of G. max A81-356022 and G. soja PI 468.916. The University of Utah RIL population consists of 240 F7 individuals. The University of Nebraska population is 57 individuals F2 individuals derived from the cross of Clark and Harosoy. The map contains more than 1000 loci genotyped by RFLP, more than 200 loci genotyped by AFLP, more than 600 loci genotyped by SSR and 71 morphologic or isozyme loci.
