Description: After reporting the use of two mapping populations of recombinant-inbred plants to generate a linkage map for the entire corn genome, Ben and Francis Burr used the same mapping population to generate a linkage map with greater marker density. This was published in a book in 1993 and shortly thereafter communicated to MaizeDB (subsumed into MaizeGDB).
