Project name: Fagopyrum homotropicum

Description: An interspecific cross between F. esculentum and F. homotropicum was performed. Selfing the F1 resulted in 85 F2 plants which were used as a mapping population. The map was constructed with AFLP markers and 3 morphological traits (self-incompatibility, shattering habit, winged seed).
