Description: WashU conducted a comparative genomic analysis of several ascomycete yeast species, including Lachancea kluyveri (synonym: Saccharomyces kluyveri). They sequenced the Lachancea kluyveri strain NRRL Y-12651 genome using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. Version 1 of the assembly, which represents 3.6X sequence coverage and approximately 81% of the Lachancea kluyveri genome, consists of 2,381 contigs. Version 2 of the assembly consists of 1,275 contigs. Version 3 of the assembly, which represents 10.2X sequence coverage, consists of 34 contigs.
