Project name: Pristionchus pacificus strain:PS312
Description: The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) selected 18 new eukaryotic organisms to be sequenced (NIH News Release). The sequencing will be carried out by five centers in the NHGRI-supported large-scale sequencing research network: Agencourt Bioscience; Baylor College of Medicine; the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard; The Institute for Genomic Research; and the Washington University School of Medicine. The sequencing strategy is to obtain a ~6.5 coverage of the genome in plasmids and end sequence the available fosmid clones.AppaDB is a P.pacificus database (Max-Planck Institute), integrating genomic data with the physical map, genetic linkage map, EST and BAC end sequence, and hybridization data.
