Project name: Gasterosteus aculeatus
Description: A genome wide linkage map for Gasterosteus aculeatus is being constructed at the Stanford Genome Evolution Center. From a lake in British Columbia, a benthic female was crossed to a limnetic male. A resulting F1 hybrid male was backcrossed to a benthic female to generate progeny used for large-scale genotyping analysis. Over 220 microsatellite markers have been analysed and placed on twenty-six initial linkage groups.
Data type: Map
