Project name: Yersinia pseudotuberculosis B-6864 isolate:8421-S
Description: Strain B-6864 (alias 8421-S) was isolated in the Stavropol region in 1940 from Citellus pygmaeus. The strain belongs to sequence type ST19 (as defined in Laukkanen-Ninios R, et al. 2011, Environ. Microbiol. 13:3114-3127). Short read sequences were assembled into 237 contigs larger than 1 kb, for a total of 4226485 bp. The largest contig is 111276 bp long. This project is part of a study comprising a total of 5 ST19 strains from Russia (4) or Turkmenistan (1).
