Project name: Streptococcus agalactiae SS1014

Description: To explore the phylogenomic relationships between GBS strains isolated from fish and from mammals, we performed the genome sequencing and annotation of the Streptococcus agalactiae strain SS1014 isolated from fish and belonging to ST6. A draft genome sequence was obtained using Illumina sequencing and reads were assembled into contigs using Velvet software.
