Project name: Streptococcus agalactiae LADL-90-503

Description: To explore the phylogenomic relationships between GBS strains isolated from fish and from mammals, we performed the genome sequencing and annotation of the Streptococcus agalactiae strain LADL-90-503 isolated from fish and belonging to ST260. A draft genome sequence was obtained using Illumina sequencing and reads were assembled into contigs using Velvet software.
