Project name: Streptococcus agalactiae SS1219

Description: To explore the phylogenomic relationships between GBS strains isolated from fish, frog and mammals, we performed the genome sequencing and annotation of the Streptococcus agalactiae strain SS1219 isolated from fish and belonging to ST260. A draft genome sequence was obtained using Illumina sequencing and reads were assembled into contigs using Velvet software.
