Project name: Hydrangeaceae
Description: To estimate genetic structure and divergence time of Deinanthe species, this dataset was used. Fossil-calibrated dated phylogeny based on chloroplast genome sequences showed the Chinese and Japanese Deinanthe species diverged in Plistocene era. To elucidate phylogeographic structure within the species, we performed RAD-seq analysis of 18 populations of the two species, to find clear genetic breaks in Japanese species. STRUCTURE analysis of genome-wide SNPs markers showed the inferred genetic clusters were distributed across the neighbouring islands of Japan.
