Description: Paraclostridium bifermentans subsp. muricolitidis subsp. nov. (PAGU 1678T) isolated from Biobreeding rat feces. We thought that the Paraclostridium bifermentans PAGU 1678 should be classified to a novel subspecies of Paraclostridium bifermentans. Paraclostridium bifermentans subsp. muricolitidis subsp. nov. with the type strain PAGU 1678T (=CCUG 72489T =NBRC 113386T). In this project, we determined the complete whole genome sequence of PAGU 1678T
