Description: We attempted to elucidate the mechanisms controlling phase-dependent body color polyphenism in locusts. We compared S. gregaria transcriptomes between isolation- and crowd-reared nymphs. Morevoer, CRZ-knockdown wild-type gregarious nymphs and albino gregarious nymphs were subjected this analysis.
