Description: Tomato curl mutants were identified by its curly leaf phenotype from the induced mutant population developed in the tomato cultivar Micro-Tom. To identify the causal gene, mutant or wild-type BCF2 individuals were separately bulked according to curl phenotype and then subjected to exome sequecing that targets around 50 Mb genome-wide exons. Four allelic curl mutants (curl-1, 2, 3, 6) and three wild-type controls were analyzed.
