Project name: Niallia sp. NCCP-28
Description: Antibiotics have a massive share of attention in the whole world in different environmental compartments. The problem of increasing antimicrobial resistance is even more threatening and epidemiologically significant when considering the very limited number of new antimicrobial agents that are in development. Thus, it is very important to identify dominant bacterial species present in environment along with determining the resistant ones to the commonly prescribed antibiotics. So this study is designed to delineate the taxonomic position of the strain by phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic characterization.
