Project name: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2
Description: A patient with SARS-CoV-2 infection and Takotsubo cardiomyopathy died of multiple organ failure. In autopsy, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2)-antigen was detected in cardiomyocytes by immunostaining, suggesting direct linkage of virus infection with cardiac injury. Whole genome sequences of SARS-CoV-2 detected in lung, heart, kidney, liver and colon were determined with next generation sequencer.
