Project name: Pyrus pyrifolia strain:Cultivars and breeding seedlings
Description: Sweetness is one of the most important traits to determine fruit quality, that is not only controlled by the total sugar content but also individual sugars. The goals of this study are to identify QTLs and genes associated with individual sugar conversion and accumulation in Japanese pear. Double digest restriction-site associated DNA sequence of 1218 cultivars and breeding seedlings were used for the experiment.
