Description: The common cutworm (CCW, Spodoptera litura Fabricius) is one of the most serious pests of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.). Soybean cultivar Himeshirazu has strong CCW resistance. In previous report, QTL analysis of CCW resistance using a recombinant inbred line (RIL) derived from a cross between Fukuyutaka and Himeshirazu, identified two antixenosis resistance QTLs. To reveal sequence variation between Fukuyutaka and Himeshirazu, the whole genome sequencing was performed using Illumina HiSeq sequencer(BioProject ID: PRJDB10313). In the result, we found presumed insert region in CCW2 region of Himeshirazu. Then, targeted amplicon sequencing was performed using MinION sequencer.
