Project name: Hordeum vulgare subsp. vulgare strain:Haruna Nijo
Description: A project to generate sequence knowledge of Haruna Nijo cultivar. This will complement the work to sequence the Morex cultivar. 444 EST markers mapped to chromosome 3H were used to identify 400 BAC clones from the library prepared from Haruna Nijo. These BACs were subjected to WGS sequence determination.
