Description: Gout is a common inflammatory arthritis disease caused by the chronic evaluated level of uric acid and the subsequent deposited urate crystals in and around joints. Emerging evidences have shown that gut microbiota is associated with numerous human diseases. However, the relationship between gout and microbiota still remains unclear. Here we performed a metagenomic study to reveal the differential microbial signature in gout patients and assess the association between gout and gut microbiome.
