China National GeneBank (CNGB), launched in September 2016, aims to develop a word-class, non-profit and strategic platform that supports science and technology development globally. It is featured by the powerful capacity of "reading, writing and storing" and consists of "Three banks and Two platforms". It will benefit public welfare, life science research, innovation and industry incubation, through effective bioresource conservation, digitalization and utilization. CNGBdb is a data platform build for the systematically archiving and ahring of multi-omics data in life science, as the service portal of Bio-informatics Data Center of CNGB.
