Description: JGI is sequencing the genome of Glycine max cultivar Williams 82 to 8X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. More than 13 million traces have been deposited in GenBank. The goal is to get an aligned reference sequence of at least the gene rich regions.
