1000 Plant (1KP) Transcriptomes is a large-scale international multidisciplinary consortium acquiring data from over 1,000 plant species(from angiosperms to algae) based on the next generation sequencing technology. The completion of the program will greatly enrich the data resources of plants in public databases, laying the foundation for the study of the biology and evolutionary history of plants. It also contributes to the industrial application development of plant genome research results.
