Project name: Dastarcus helophoroides
Description: Dastarcus helophoroides (Fairmaire) (Coleoptera: Bothrideridae) is an important natural enemy insect of cerambycid pests, and is considered as a generalist parasitoid in biological control. Nevertheless, the absence of complete genomic information limits the investigation its molecular mechanisms, parasitoid lifestyle and behavior. In the research, a high-quality chromosome-level of D. helophoroides genome was assembled using a combination of Illumina, PacBio and Hi-C strategy.
