Project name: Single nucleus RNA-seq of genetically labeled Esr1+ neurons from the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST), preoptic area (POA), ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH), and medial amygdala (MeA)
Description: We used genetic methods to label Esr1+ neurons with nuclear membran GFP to all purificiation of nuclei from these cells followed by single-nucleus sequencing.Overall design: We generated libraries from male, FR females (ovariectomized, hormonally primed, sexually receptive) and FNR (ovariectomized, not hormonaly primed, sexually unreceptive) mice in order to compare cell type composition and gene expression between these conditions. We generated one library from each condition in each brain region surveyed. Full count matrices for each region and associated metadata represent filtered data reported in paper; the unfiltered count matrices have not undergone QC filtering.
