Description: We performed the whole genome sequencing of Balkhi sheep, a breed native to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. High quality genomic DNA was isolated from blood and sequenced using Next Generation Sequencer, Illumina's Novaseq 6000, in paired-end setting [300 bp insert size].
