Description: The study was undertaken in order to shed a light on the meaning of a new players in estrogen signaling: G-protein coupled membrane estrogen receptor (GPER) and estrogen-related receptor (ERR) for testis function at the level of gene expression and their involvement in cellular and molecular processes. Male mice received intraperitoneal injections of GPER antagonist (G-15; 50ug/kg bw) or ERR-alfa antagonist (XCT 790; 50ug/kg bw) or ERR-beta/ERR-gamma agonist (DY131; 50ug/kg bw). For the study Next Generation Sequencing (RNA-Seq) analysis was used.
