Project name: Enrichment broths for Salmonella

Description: To better understand the consequences of different culturing techniques, we performed shotgun metagenomic sequencing using Illumina’s MiSeq platform for three replicate samples of three different culturing techniques (Universal Pre-enrichment broth (UPB), Rappaport-Vassiliadis (RV) medium, and Tetrathionate (TT) broth) that are used to increase the detectability of Salmonella sp. We also include three uncultured replicates.
