MPSTA: Mouse Placentation Spatiotemporal Transcriptomic Atlas
The MPSTA database has constructed a spatiotemporal transcriptome atlas of the mouse placenta from the post-implantation embryonic stages E7.5 to E14.5, providing crucial data for understanding the mechanisms of placental development. By analyzing the placental spatial transcriptome, the fine structural hierarchy and spatial developmental trajectory of the early mouse trophoblast structure—the placental cone—have been identified. In the labyrinth region, which performs the function of nutrient exchange, cell communication analysis has revealed key regulatory factors for trophoblast development and placental angiogenesis.
