Description: Peripheral CNS-infiltrating lymphocytes are a hallmark of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS). Single cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples can help elucidating pathological mechanisms of MS. By comparing MS CSF immune cells during relapse with cells during therapeutic VLA-4 blockade, where peripheral immune cell infiltration is reduced, we identify relevant immune subsets.
