Description: The microbiome of stormwater biofiltration systems is a significant factor contributing to macro-and micro-pollutants removal but is largely unexplored. This study investigated how this microbiome can be manipulated by bioaugmentation of micropollutant-degrading bacteria and complementing part of the biofilter-media with GAC.
