Description: The big brown bat (Eptesicus fuscus) ranges across most of North and Central America and can be found in cities, towns, and rural areas. These bats typically inhabit the same area year-round though in the northern part of their range they may migrate tens of miles to hibernate in mines, caves, or buildings.
