Description: Analysis of transcriptome changes in rabbit cartilage tissue following surgical induction of critical size defects on knee joints with or without collagen-chondroitin sulphate (CLCS) 3D scaffolds.Overall design: Total RNA was obtained from cartilage tissue of rabbits that underwent surgical procedures to generate critical size defects in the knee joint. The regenerative effects of a collagen-chondroitin sulphate 3D scaffold were compared to untreated controls.
