Description: Here we report targeted amplicon sequencing of bacterial 16S rRNA and nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region defining the bacteriome and mycobiome profiles of 217 bronchiectasis patients recruited to the Cohort of Asian and Matched European Bronchiectasis (CAMEB) study. The dataset further includes longitudinal samples from 17 patients across three time points (also assessed by 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing) as well as sputum-derived whole-genome shotgun data (166 patients).
