Project name: Citrobacter rodentium strain:DBS100

Description: The enteropathogenic Citrobacter rodentium strain DBS100 (DBS100) infect intestine and colon of mice. The DBS100-mice is a model system for investigation of virulence mechanisms of enteropathogenic and enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli strains (EPEC&EHEC) that infect human intestine. To identify genetic determinants that are associated with DBS100, EPEC and EHEC virulence we sequenced the complete genome of DBS100.
