Description: Oryza coarctata is a tetraploid wild rice with HHKK genome type found in Bangladesh. It has an HHKK genome. Breeders are interested because of the salt tolerance demonstrated. Two libraries were produced. A 13.8X coverage BAC library was used to generate an FPC map. A shotgun library of randomly sheared DNA was used to generate sequence for repetitive DNA analysis.
