Project name: Mycoplasmoides pneumoniae FH strain:FH
Description: Mycoplasma pneumoniae FH. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is one of the first organisms with a full genome sequenced. The strain FH differs substantially from the originally sequenced M129 strain in its clinical and epidemiological characteristics. The evolution of the conservative Mycoplasma genome will be studied by comparing the closely related genomes (FH and M129) with more distantly related species (M.genitalium and other Mycoplasmas).
Data type: Genome sequencing
Sample scope: Monoisolate
