Description: The project aims to understand the clonal composition (genetic relatedness and diversity) isolates with non-vaccine types (NVT’s) 35B,15B and 23B. It is further purposed to compare the molecular epidemiology of the studied NVT’s with other emerging ones in other countries. New emerging serotypes require closer monitoring as candidates for incorporation to future pneumococcal vaccines
