Description: Clostridium difficile 6407. Clostridium difficile strains showing large degree of genome variation, based on microarray comparative genome hybridizations of 80 isolates from different hosts and geographical areas, were selected for shotgun sequencing. Strain 6407 is an equine isolate and will be used for comparative sequence analysis.
